DIP CODE SETTINGS - Open the battery cover and look inside the old remote. There is a series of “DIP” switches (4). Slide the switches on the new remote with a pen to match the pattern of the old remote. As long as the fan has a receiver (it must also have the same dip switches). Replace the batteries in the new remote and everything will work. If you have more than one ceiling fan in your home, make sure the PIN settings are different between them
IMPORTANT: Before making your purchase, please be aware that this fan light switch does not have wifi functionality. Unlike the previous version, it only needs 3 wires for installation!
